Supporting Teaching, Learning, and Community at Phineas Bates Elementary
The Phineas Bates School Parent Council is launching its Annual Fund Appeal for the 2017-2018 school year. This “Fox Fund” is a way to raise money for class field trips, special classroom visitors, music programs and more. Together with our spring Fox Fest and other smaller fundraisers, Fox Fund is our way of ensuring that Bates students can enjoy rich, real-world experiences that support their education.
We can only do this with your help, and respectfully ask you to donate to our Annual Appeal.
Every gift matters. Your generosity and support – at whatever level, be it $1 or $500 – will make a difference. It’s not important how much you give, but that you give.
Last year’s fundraising is already at work. The School Parent Council has given $3000 for teachers to use to help pay for field trips and special guests this school year.
All funds we raise go directly to teachers and staff to enable them to carry out their incredible work.
Our goal this year is for Fox Fund to raise $50 on behalf of each and every student at the Bates. Your donation will have a huge impact: it will ensure that all of our children benefit from educational enrichment, from school-wide activities, and field trips.
All donations are tax deductible and we will send you a tax receipt for your contribution. Ask your employer if they will match your contribution to Fox Fund.
Parents at the Bates already contribute in many wonderful ways, whether it be volunteering at events, making food for bake sales and potlucks, chaperoning field trips, or advocating for the school at BPS meetings. We hope you will join in our volunteer effort to financially strengthen the Bates’ engaging learning environment.
Thank you for your consideration and support,
Barb Damon, Jocelyn Marshall, Alanah Haynes, Travis Marshall, Kristen Bonstein, Korri Crowley — The Phineas Bates School Parent Council
