Hello, Bates community! My name is Heather Frasso and I am the Bates school nurse. It’s hard to believe I have been at the Bates and Mozart elementary schools for five years! I love having the opportunity to work with your children. The students keep me engaged and give me opportunities to learn and grow on a daily basis. My goal is to support our students to reach their optimal health potential to ensure they are ready to learn. Our students are entitled to be equipped with information needed to make healthy choices and my job is to help provide this material.
I have two sons, both of whom live away at college! I have a dog named Buddy who keeps me busy and laughing. I have always wanted to row on the Charles River and I started to row this past year and I love it. I have not rowed on the Charles as of yet, but I am working on it. I also like to ride my bike and eat! I enjoy going out to eat with my sons; it gives us the chance to talk.

My name is Janet Marrone and I am a speech/language pathologist at the Bates. I just completed my third year at the Bates and previously worked at the Henderson Inclusion Elementary School for 14 years. I love having the opportunity to work with students from pre-K through fifth grade, developing relationships with children and their families and watching them mature and grow. It is my hope that all children who come to our school feel successful.
I live in Wayland with my husband and our 5 year-old daughter. I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, reading, baking and spending time with my family.
