At our March 6th meeting, we will officially launch the process to find the next principal of the Phineas Bates Elementary School. I am working with district-level staff to move this process as quickly as possible (while still identifying quality candidates) to ensure a smooth transition.
At this meeting, Karla Jenkins from the Office of Family Engagement will provide an overview of the process. Then, we will identify the teachers and parents who will serve on the selection committee (they will interview candidates and recommend finalists). The School Site Council will vote to approve members of the committee, so it is imperative we have quorum. Individuals must be present to serve on the committee.
The meeting will be from 5:30-7:00pm with free childcare provided.
